The Sumner Boating and Fishing Club is a small club situated at the (clock tower) end of Scarborough Beach in Sumner Christchurch.
We maintain the two boat ramps and a jetty which are situated next to the Coast Guard station.
Sumner Boating and Fishing have a small Club shed and a few designated car and trailer parks.
The ramps are utilised mainly during the summer months with good access on most states of the tide. Low tide requires some local knowledge for launching larger boats.
The stone breakwater provides shelter from the prevailing weather.
Charges are $5.00 per day boat launching for non-members, or $30.00 per year unlimited use for members.
